Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza 2018 - Latest news cover

Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza (Official) facebook account has just announced some new on this year's upcoming Extravaganza 5 - 7th May 2018

There’s been many changes to this years event. We now have two Zones.

In Zone 1 (Victorian) you will find an array of Vintage rides, Traction Engines, Victorian Entertainment and our newest feature a Victorian street market.

St George’s place will feature a ride that has a strong Victorian heritage but embodies modern technology, the Observation Wheel is the smaller cousin of The Great Wheel built in March 1894 for the Empire of India Exhibition at Earls Court. It stood at 94m high compared with the 35 meter high Observation Wheel it was a phenomenal example of Victorian engineering and carried 2.5 million passengers before it was sadly demolished in 1907.
The Observation Wheel will be the start of Zone 2 stretching to Upper Mostyn street and including the Town Hall car park where a selection of modern rides inspired by Victorian ideas will create a wonderful array of amusement suitable for all of our visitors, although some will not be for the faint hearted!

The opening hours have changed this year.
Saturday 5th May - 10am - 8pm
Sunday 6th May - 10am - 8pm
Monday 7th May - 10am - 5pm
